Rob Nichols BDS, PgCert (Endodontics)

Rob is committed to developing a centre of excellence for private dental care. He worked in several dental practices in England and Ireland before establishing Cottingham Dental Practice in 2000. His experience and knowledge of different techniques and approaches inform his own methods of working.

Rob graduated in dentistry from the University of Manchester in 1986. He completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics at the University of Chester in 2009. He regularly attends postgraduate conferences and courses, with a particular focus on endodontics and implant dentistry.

“I love to see the positive effects that a successful course of treatment can have on a patient’s life. I seem to be one of the few dentists I know with combined interests in endodontics and implants. My approach is about the balance of predictable and cost effective solutions.”

When he isn’t working, Rob can often be found in a glider somewhere above Yorkshire or volunteering as a trainee driver at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Rob is registered with the General Dental Council (www.gdc-uk.org): Reg No 61732.
